Everyone is excited for the long awaited 3-day Summer Sidewalk Sales on July 19-21. Come and shop for the best deals this summer in Downtown Glen Ellyn with amazing merchandise!
- Friday, July 19: 10am – 5pm
- Saturday, July 20: 10am – 5pm
- Sunday, July 21: 10am – 4pm (on sidewalks only, Main St is open to traffic)
All your favorite retail stores will have racks and tables outside their storefronts throughout downtown with deals up to 75% off!
NEW this year see LIVE SIDEWALK CHALK ART from local artist throughout Downtown Glen Ellyn! We will also have buckets of chalk to let the kiddos ‘chalk up the walk’ themselves! Times & locations:
- Friday morning in front of Citibank (444 Main St) and Fire Station (524 Pennsylvania Ave).
- Saturday morning at the Glen Art Movie Theater (540 Crescent Ave)
Look for the Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn table, handing out lemonade and information on current events such as Where’s Waldo, The Cicadas on Parade and the Glen Ellyn Public Art Walk, as well as upcoming events!
Main Street from Crescent Blvd to Pennsylvania Ave will be closed on Friday and Saturday with tents, tables, clothing racks and additional vendors. On Sunday, sale racks will be on the sidewalk only as Main Street will be open to vehicular traffic.
