For the display that delivers the biggest chills and creepiest atmosphere.

Think haunted houses, eerie graveyards, ghosts, skeletons, spooky lighting, mysterious creatures, and decorations that make visitors look twice!

This award is for the home that truly embraces the fright side of Halloween.

For the most imaginative and original Halloween theme.

Have a clever idea? A magical scene? A funny concept? An elaborate story told through decorations?

This category celebrates homeowners who think outside the coffin and create something truly unique.

💀 4. The Monster Mash Award

Biggest, Boldest & Most Over-the-Top Display

This award celebrates the homeowners who go all out!

Think giant skeletons, towering inflatables, elaborate props, spooky lighting, animatronics, monsters, and Halloween displays that stop the neighborhood in its tracks.

If your Halloween motto is "more is more,"this category is for you!

After the community voting period closes, the winners of the 2026 Downtown Glen Ellyn Home Halloween Decorating Contest will be announced!

Each winning home will receive special recognition and a winner's yard sign to proudly display for all to see.
