Meet at the Parlour of Park & Oak, get checked-in and let the evening begin to unfold. With only 60 tickets available, this is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in a unique and captivating story. You'll be divided into groups of 12 and escorted by your “detective” into five different storefronts, where you'll interview the suspects and piece together the puzzle.
The excitement builds as all groups reconvene for the grand reveal at Two Hound Red Brewing Co, where you'll finally discover the answer to the burning question: “Who did it and Why???"
This unique experience not only offers a thrilling mystery to solve but also a chance to explore Glen Ellyn like never before. Step behind the scenes and uncover the secrets of the past as you navigate through this meticulously crafted adventure.
This is not your 'sit around and watch’ kind of murder mystery event! You are inside the action, interviewing the suspects and trekking through town. By the time it comes to offer your solution, you will be surprised how involved you have become!

This September in Glen Ellyn, as the air turns crisp and the leaves start falling... the podcasts turn... deadly.
On September 26, a group of aspiring paranormal podcasters gathers for the "Haunted Horizons" contest and a masterclass with legendary ghost hunter and podcaster Damien Webster. But when Chip Braun, Damien's producer, is found dead under mysterious circumstances, the lines between fantasy and reality blur.
Was it a contestant seeking fame? A rival threatened by success? Or something more... supernatural?
You're the detective in this interactive murder mystery. Explore Glen Ellyn's shops, each hiding potential clues and suspects. Interview the podcasters, gather evidence, and unravel the truth before the killer strikes again.
About the Event
- Tickets are $65 per person. Upon registration you will receive all your materials needed for the evening.
- Registration location will be at the Parlour of Park & Oak, located at 499 Pennsylvania Ave, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137
- Check in time will begins at 4:30 pm. Lite bites from Marche will be served with a cash bar. This event will begin at 5:45 pm until approximately 9:00 pm. Please bring a valid State ID along with your ticket confirmation. This is a 21+ event.
- There will be 7 total storefronts participating. The starting location at the Parlour of Park & Oak, 5 clue locations which are storefronts in Downtown Glen Ellyn, and the final reveal stop at Two Hound Red Brewing Company.
- Guests will be divided into groups of 12. Upon purchasing your ticket select the same group number as your friends if you wish to be together. If there is an issue, email us to see if we can help.
- Each group will be escorted by an actor from Westside Improv walking round-robin into 5 different storefronts finding clues and learning more about the story along the way. Some stores will be providing tastings. Please return, to purchase their product or service!
- All guests will meet back together for the final big reveal finding the answer to the question “Who’s done it?”. This location will be Two Hound Red, 486 Pennsylvania Ave, Glen Ellyn. Guests are encouraged to stay and dine after the event.
- Only 60 tickets will be sold. We expect to sell out. Tickets are non-refundable.
- This is a walking event covering over 2 blocks in the downtown walking back and forth. All storefronts are ADA accessible. Wear comfy shoes!
