The Holly Jolly Trolley will be giving 30-minute narrated tours of Downtown Glen Ellyn while visiting festive decorating homes in the near vicinity. Be ready to sing a carol, hear a joke and maybe discover new historical facts of Glen Ellyn while cruising by festive lights in a warm trolley.

Purchase Your Tickets:
Trolley Tickets are $15 tickets per person. Tickets will be sold on-line. Children under 2 who will sit on the guardian's lap are free. There are 34 seats in the trolley. Seats are expected to sell out. When you purchase your ticket, select which trolley time to board. Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring your confirmation. If you miss your trolley time, there may not be availability on the next trolley. There are no refunds.

Boarding times are:

Arrival 4:30, Tour 4:45 - 5:15 pm
Arrival 5:15, Tour 5:30 - 6:00 pm
Arrival 6:00, Tour 6:15 - 6:45 pm
Arrival 6:45, Tour 7:00 - 7:30 pm
Arrival 7:30, Tour 7:45 - 8:15 pm

Check In:
Check in is at Lewey Q's Tap, 427 Main St, Glen Ellyn. This is next door to the Santa House and the free Village Parking Garage. There is only one location for pick-up and drop-off which is located427 Main St., Glen Ellyn. This location is centrally located near many restaurants for your family and friends to have dinner.

Severe Weather Policy

Unless otherwise indicated, outdoor events occur rain or shine. If lightning or other dangerous weather is imminent or present, Downtown Glen Ellyn reserves the right to cancel or delay any remaining event activities. Updates on the status of an interrupted or canceled event will be posted to Facebook and Instagram @downtownglenellyn. Please note that event websites and social media pages may not be immediately updated to reflect weather-related changes. If a ticketed event is canceled, Downtown Glen Ellyn will email ticket buyers with options for their unused tickets.

Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued. If a ticketed event is canceled, Downtown Glen Ellyn will email ticket purchasers to advise them of available options.

PayPal

Our ticketing platform, Ticket Tailor, processes payments through PayPal, which is what will appear on your credit card statement. You do not need a PayPal account to complete your purchase. Please note that these charges correspond to your event tickets from Downtown Glen Ellyn.

Photo/Video Policy

Downtown Glen Ellyn takes photographs and videos of attendees for the purpose of promoting our events, programs, membership, and community initiatives. By attending any Downtown Glen Ellyn event or promotion, the participant (or parent/guardian of a minor participant) agrees to the use and distribution of their image/likeness (or that of a minor child/ward) in photographs, video recordings, and any other electronic reproductions of such activities for any purpose, without inspection, compensation, or any other consideration now or in the future unless noted prior to the event.

The Alliance of Downtown Glen Ellyn is a 501c6 non-profit organization comprised of dedicated business owners with a goal to be an economic driver for the central business district and to create Glen Ellyn as a destination for Chicagoland. We are supported by the Village of Glen Ellyn, members, sponsors, and events.

Our goal is to increase foot traffic and sales in the central business district by marketing promotions and planning events that heighten awareness and visibility of Downtown Glen Ellyn. We promote Downtown Glen Ellyn as a destination for shoppers and diners, not only for Glen Ellyn residents, but also for visitors from surrounding communities of Chicago.
