 I bring forward the art and history of the barn quilts of the upper mid-west using recycled barn wood. The textures and colors time has given the barn wood lends itself well to my art. I have also been using exotic hardwoods, the graining of which gives depth and color to my quilts.

Art with a purpose-I create unique design methods on tiles, lazy Susans, charcuterie boards & earrings of all sizes w/ professional grade acrylic paints & pigment powders. They are then cured for 14 days, then get covered w/ resin, cured, back sanded painted and corked. Withstand up to 400 degrees.

 I source antique buttons from the Victorian era to 1960's. These special buttons have historical significance and stories to tell. I hand forge silver components, use gold filled, plated metals and semi-precious gemstones. I create unique designs that balance the old with the new.

I create digital paintings, all done by hand on my tablet using an Apple Pencil. While the work is done on a screen, I like to tell people that it’s “hand done digital, made by a human artist.” I then send them to be printed.

My artwork medium is colorful enamel jewelry. Vitreous enamels are applied over the copper or brass metal base pieces. Multiple layers of enamel are sifted onto the piece, then the piece is kiln or torch fired. Designs are hand painted or stenciled on finished pieces and fired one last time.
