55th Annual Festival of the Arts

Returning to picturesque Lake Ellyn, this juried Fine Art show will be fun for the whole family. 


Enjoy the fine art of various mediums from over 60 artists, live music, children’s entertainment, Cicadas on Parade on exhibit and tasty local food, beer, wine and treats!

Saving the best event for last, before the summer comes to a close, mark your calendar for one of the favorite fine art shows in DuPage, Glen Ellyn’s Festival of the Arts. Returning to beautiful Lake Ellyn, the Festival of the Arts will be celebrating its 55th year.  

55th Festival of the Arts

There is so much going on at the 55th Annual Festival of the Arts we cannot wait to see you there!


  • 67 Artisans in varied mediums including: Acrylic, Fibre, Glass, Graphics, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Oil Painting, Photography, Pottery, Watercolor and Wood
  • Cicadas on Parade Exhibit & Silent Auction
  • Live Music (see line-up below)
  • Delicious local food and desert tents
  • Beer tent with monies going to the good work of the Lions Club of Glen Ellyn
  • Wiggleworms Children Play Area, hosting crafts and an instrument petting zoo
  • Lake Ellyn Park, a 28.7-acre park known as the gem of Glen Ellyn. Enjoy beautiful walking paths around Lake Ellyn and the surrounding nature of this picturesque setting. 

Cicadas on Parade Silent Auction

 Cicadas will be AUCTIONED off online with the monies earmarked for public art in Downtown Glen Ellyn.


 25 hand painted cicada sculptures are currently lining the streets in flowerpots, windows and trees throughout Downtown Glen Ellyn. These 18-inch cicada sculptures are 8 lbs., made of plaster with copper legs and hand painted with love from our local shop owners and artists.  


All 25 cicadas will be collected and available for viewing at the Festival of the Arts located at Glen Ellyn on August 24th and winners can be collected on Sunday, August 25th or otherwise arranged.
