Downtown Glen Ellyn is turning up the volume Fridays with our FREE Summer Concert Series and you’re invited to bring the whole crew.

SWEENEY BAND
7:45 - 9:45 PM
SWEENEY is a Chicago-area cover band playing the third-best song by your favorite band from the '70s and '80s. Not the hit, not the deep cut nobody wants — the one you forgot you loved. Guitars, bass, keys, drums, sax and a wall of harmony vocals. Tune up your air guitar and sing along into your air mic.
Dead Ellyn
6:00 - 7:15 PM
Dead Ellyn is the local Grateful Dead cover band Glen Ellyn deserves. Nothing but the Dead, jams that go where they go, and a crowd that stays through the second set. How is your town's Dead cover band?

Free parking is available in Metra Lots and parking garages. Click HERE
Chairs set up by 5:00 pm
We recommend bringing chairs. Music will start at 6pm..
No Outside Food or Drink
No outside food or drink allowed from outside Downtown Glen Ellyn Restaurants. All restaurants will be serving food and drinks which you are able to dine and drink outside. No alcohol is to leave the festival area. Consuming alcohol will require a free wristband. PRO TIP- PREORDER FOOD FOR CARRY OUT!
Main Street Stage Alternating Locations
The concert stage will always be on Main Street in Downtown Glen Ellyn alternating locations from the northside of the tracks, allowing more businesses to participate.

Go Green at the Summer Concert Series!
Thanks to a generous grant from the Glen Ellyn Fund, a DuPage Foundation initiative, Go Green Glen Ellyn will be providing 100% recyclable aluminum cups at the Downtown Glen Ellyn Summer Concert Series! This is the first time recycling will be available at this event! All drinks purchased from restaurants and bars at the event will be served in aluminum cups.
Help us ensure a sustainable Summer Concert Series by doing the following at the event:
- Look for the specially designed recycling receptacles at the event when you are done with your cups - blue lids with clear bags
- ONLY aluminum cans, cups, and/or bottles will be accepted for recycling in these containers
- All other waste including plastic bottles, paper plates, plastic utensils should be placed in trash bins at the event
- You may also take the cups home with you (empty) to reuse!
